MEET THE TEAM

MAKENNA ADLER-BOCK

Writer and Voice Actor

Makenna Adler-Bock is making her debut in the HD Stafford theater program in their adaption of the 1938 radio drama War of the Worlds. Makenna doesn’t have acting experience with the HD Stafford theater program but has done a Remembrance Day monologue at Stafford. Makenna loves art especially painting and can play some simple songs on piano. Her favorite thing about HD Stafford is getting to meeting new people of different ages because it is her first year at Stafford and she doesn’t know many people yet. She would like to give a shoutout to her family and friends for always being supportive and being there for her when she needs them most.

NATALIE BEAN

Writer and Voice Actor

Natalie Bean first started acting in a class production of the Princess and the Frog at Salt Spring Island Middle School. After this, she continued to move forward with acting and joined the SIMS improve group. 

KAYA KOZIERAS

Writer and Voice Actor

Kaya's previous roles include, Jax from Stuck in the Middle (HDSMS) and Carlyle's father in The Greatest Showman (Bard in the Valley). Kaya plays guitar and enjoys listening to rock and metal music. Her favorite things about theater are making new friends and script writing. She wants to thank her family friends and teachers for all their love and support.

NEERA RAIN

Writer and Voice Actor

Neera Rain has been a performer since she was young and loves acting. Neera’s credits include Stuck in the Middle (HDSMS), The Greatest Showman (Bard in the Valley), and Yearbook Mystery (Bard in the Valley). She wants to give a "Thank You!" to everyone who has supported her. 

ADRIANO TAVARES

Writer and Voice Actor

Adriano Tavares has a passion for acting. He played Phillip Carlyle in The Greatest Showman (Bard in the Valley) and he performed in Yearbook Mystery (Bard in the Valley).

OLIVER TORRENCE

Voice Actor

Oliver is new to the theater group but is enjoying his time. Oliver is in the sixth grade and enjoys playing the guitar and his favorite subject is math. Oliver thanks his parents for encouraging him all the way.

LYLE DAVID BANNISTER

Voice Actor

Lyle has had acting experience in school plays, the Arts Umbrella acting intensive class, and the Arts Umbrella theatre class. Lyle started at the age of six, and it’s a thing he enjoys doing as a hobby. Lyle thanks his family and previous teacher for the experiences he has had with acting. On his own time Lyle plays a lot of Minecraft and other video games, along with watching Youtube. Its Lyle’s second year at Stafford, and he is mostly enjoying it so far.

MICHAEL AKPOMUDJE

Voice Actor

Michael is making his theatre debut in H.D. Stafford's War of the Worlds. Michael plays the snare drum and enjoys traveling. His favorite thing about H.D. Stafford is making friends. He would like to give a big thanks to Mum.

JULIET RITTSCHER

Voice Actor

This will be Juliet’s second production in H.D. Stafford's Theatre Program. She previously starred in 10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse. Juliet enjoys gymnastics and photography. She wants to say thanks to dad for introducing her to theatre.

GAVIN VINSON

Voice Actor

This will be Gavin's third year acting in and out of school. Some of past performances were The Greatest Showman (where he played PT Barnum), Cinderella (where he played the Fairy Godmother), and The Little Mermaid (where he played Flotsam and Carlotta). Gavin would like to give thanks to his theatre teacher Lauren for being his inspiration and most of all his mom for believing in him and supporting him all the way.

CHLOE MACAPUGAS

Voice Actor

This is Chloe's first time acting in a production; however, she has been thinking about acting for a while. She is excited to seize this opportunity. What she likes most about theatre is that she is able to meet more people, communicate more, and have fun. Chloe's interests are acting, playing basketball, writing stories, and gaming. She wants to thank you to my dad for pushing me to get this opportunity.

SAGE SEABROOK

Voice Actor

Sage has never any kind of performance before this, but she has always wanted to do commercials. She loves her dog pumpkin and her pet bird Headwing. She loves to draw and paint; she loves to sing and dance even when she knows she not very good at either. One day she hopes to get better at the arts.

EVAN PEEBLES

This is Evan’s first experience being involved in a school production, and he is very proud to have created the artwork for this year’s radio play.  Evan is a grade six student with a passion for art and science.  Outside of school his interests include gaming, Lego, and drawing.  Evan would like to thank Mr. Gundy for giving him the opportunity to be part of the team as well as his mom and dad for all their support!
